About
Marland Home
I started Marland Home in 2022 after reaching a crossroads during lockdown in 2020. I had been running my own business for many years running cookery courses, corporate events and cookery demonstrations. When the pandemic put all of that on hold I began thinking about my next step.
We had recently carried out extensive renovations to our Welsh cottage and I had spent many hours sourcing reclaimed items for the build and architectural and decorative finds for the interiors. I realised how my love of antiques and sourcing had developed into a real passion.
I had often thought how I might make it a bigger part of my life and when circumstances changed, I decided to seize the moment!
The items I collect have one common thread - I love them all and would happily keep them for my own home if I could. So there are items on here that will appeal to a range of budgets - from modest yet beautiful little vintage jugs and embroidered cushions to more valuable pieces such as rare Georgian pottery and early 19th century art.
Items for sale are listed on my Instagram page (@marlandhome) on week day afternoons (GMT). It is possible to set up post notifications so you can be notified when I add an item for sale. To set up post notifications, go to the Marland Home profile page, click on the bell icon and select ‘Posts’. You can turn off notifications the same way.
